December Update: No Big News

I'm sorry I don't have much news regarding Art Is Everywhere. Over half of the signs have been distributed at this point and several more individuals have expressed an interest in participating. Signs are available first come, first served, so if you would like to participate in this project I recommend you register soon by following the directions in the About This Project label.

I did hear through the grapevine that one of the signs from the Signs of Our Times show at Mobius is now owned by an Australian artist, which makes two international signs, but I have yet to hear from its new owner. Itchy has been taking a break for the winter and is enjoying sipping hot chocolate with Claude. It has just been too cold and wet lately for him to want to go out for photo shoots with the signs.

Don't neglect to email me your photos for the blog if you haven't yet done so. I would love to post your pictures. I know several of you have taken photos of your sign but just haven't downloaded them to the computer yet.

Mascot 1: Phffff aka Itchy

Art Is Everywhere just got its first mascot! Our first mascot is Phffff, an unusual creature handmade by aj aka Jane Wang from wool socks which were felted, cut, sewn, and stuffed, along with one original felt eyeball. Phffff is lovingly known by his friends as Itchy and arrived in the mail today to meet Claude and to become a mascot for this project.
